Wilsons Early
A great long-time favourite. The first plum with
size on the market. We can't stop eating them
when they're around.

Billington
An early January plum that fills a gap. We only get
to fresh market a few, as Mr Watties loves them
for canning. You may like to do the same.

Black Amber
Have you ever sniffed a Black Amber? Try it some time
- tree ripened Black Ambers have a beautiful
fragrance with a slightly floral bouquet. Black on the
outside, amber on the inside; Black Ambers are one of the
best purple plums. Full flavour, aromatic, wonderful
colour and their large size makes them easy to handle.
Make sure to leave the skin on when cooking - it will
stain the flesh to a lovely red colour. If you've
ever been disappointed with a Black Amber plum, try a
Hawke's Bay Clean fruit and taste the difference.
Because Black Ambers have such a dark black skin it can
be hard to judge just when they are ripe, so large
commercial operations often strip pick them before
they even achieve full colour. We don't.

Santa Rosa
Santa Rosa is the queen of all plums. Developed
by Luther Burbank at his world famous nursery
in Santa Rosa, California, this plum exceeded even
his wildest dreams. It is among the highest flavour
plums in the world. It's known for being difficult
to grow, so many larger growers shy away from it,
but we don't let that stop us. We know how much
you will enjoy this one.

Fortune
Fortune's amber flesh, bright jewel-red skin and huge
size make it a plum that stands out in any crowd. They
are a very "meaty" plum and develop great taste when
fully ripened. Don't be tempted to eat them before they
are fully ripe. You'll miss out on a great experience.

Flavour King
Flavour King is a new "pluot". Pluots are a cross between
a plum and an apricot. These are naturally cross-pollinated
NOT genetically engineered. Flavour King is a
large red fruit, ripening in mid February. Very sweet with
a distinctive flavour.

Omega
You'll know these by their pointed shape. A late
plum with bright red flesh. Good fresh, but also
a great plum for bottling or jam. A couple of
Omega and you'll be full.

Freedom
One of the best new plums, but they're really hard
to grow. Only a few customers will get to see
this one, but if you do, count yourself lucky.
